When something is near us, that thing seems very large
When we are looking at the image above this text, it will be like the reality, what we are seeing. We are seeing like a wall, what is formed of the snow and fog. We see the shadows of things, but we cannot see the details of those things. We know that there is something behind that white wall, but we cannot be sure, what that thing is? So the problem is similar in astronomy.
We know that behind the dust and ice of the Milky way are planets and stars, but then we cannot know what kind of stars and planets are found behind the dust and ice of the universe. Like in this photograph, we know that there are islands and other beaches, but we cannot see those things. So we cannot be sure how far those beaches and islands are? And what kind of places they can be? That is one of the biggest problems in science.
When some Harvard astronomer claims that the Oumuamua asteroid from another solar system might be an alien spacecraft that thing is against the main flow, but the fact is that I haven't ever visit Oumuamua, so I cannot be sure about that thing. People have the right to have opinions, which are against the main flow. The fact is that if we are always following the main flow, we would face things, that we are all the same. When we are looking at that image above this text, we are realizing that at first reality seems to have homogeneous particles. But when we are looking closer, we are seeing snowflakes.
The snowflake near the camera is like our relationship with stars and other things. Things that seem to be close to us feel very big. We believe that there is nothing around the snowflake. But in fact, there are small ice bites and air molecules around that thing. So that snowflake is not in a vacuum, and it's not larger than others. It seems larger because it's near the observer. And that thing is sometimes forgotten when we are talking about reality. If we are read many years, we might believe that the same things are interesting to other people. And that is not true. We are all interested in different things. So we are all different.
Do you know that there are not two similar snowflakes in the atmosphere? We might think that the snowflakes are similar, but they are all different. Without being different there is no science at all. The reason why people should dare to introduce different opinions and think differentially, we cannot develop our science models. Things like physics are not religions. If some people believe, that Oumuamua is an alien probe, they have the right to do that. Why being upset about this kind of opinion? Who they will harm?
This is the thing, what we should understand. We are modern people, who are living in modern society. But still, some people will take the people, who are thinking differently to the mental hospital. And then we are turning to the most interesting and dramatic ideas in the world. The conspiracy theories. Are the mental hospitals, or are they the government's secret innovation bases? Who knows the real answers? We are not living in a medieval period, which means that nobody should go to the bonfire for the opinions, which are against the main flow.
And at this point I must ask, do you know what happens in those buildings, what is strictly closed from the public audience? How I know, are those people sitting in a wheelchair, or are they drawing some new jet-fighters? I never visited those institutes, so I cannot be sure about this kind of thing. The reason for that is that I have not my own and personal observations about that kind of place. Of course, I can ask somebody else, but there is about a 50% possibility that a person is telling lies. So that was the philosophy for this day.
