Virtual reality can make new dimensions for net-meeting applications and the robot control

We all use net-meeting applications like MS-Teams and Skype. This kind of system is revolutionizing the working life and the thing is that those kinds of systems are advancing very fast. The advanced VR-technology, where the person uses virtual reality classes, and microphone headsets they can make real virtual conferences or meetings, where they can feel that they are physically in place.

In fact, by using modern network-based robot technology, and rendering tools we can use robots as the representers to us. The system can use the semi-independent robots, that are walking in the meeting room autonomously. And then the virtual reality system will connect a person to that external body. The fact is that the user of that kind of robot might use data gloves, but those things are not necessary anymore. The virtual gloves and suits can transmit the sense of touch to fingers by stimulating the sensory nerve by using electric signals.

The movement of the hands and why not all body can transfer to the robot by using the camera, what is connected to the computer or mobile telephone. The action camera can take the film of the movements of hands while a person sits, and those movements can transfer to the robot. The camera that this system uses can be the mobile telephone, what is on the selfie stick, what is connected to the table.  

Or the system can operate by using a mobile telephone. The GPS-system of the mobile telephone can connect to a robot, and that thing makes the robot move whenever the person moves. And the movement routes are the same with the controller. But how to make a robot make a cartwheel? That thing requires the ability to scan the movement-tracks of the body of the controller.

The system recognizes the shape of the body, and it can transfer the movements of the body to the robot. But of course, the best result would be to get by using cameras, which are scanning the body from all around. This kind of system is cheap and easy to get. But things like chambers, where the body is scanned by using the lasers modeling the movements of the body are more perfect.
