The magic of the psychohistory by Isaac Asimov's famous science fiction novel series "Foundation"


The two ways to think about the psychohistory of the fictional book "The foundation". 

 

1) The calculations by using the NTP (Natural Temperature Pressure)-base formulas are calculating the reactions of the large masses of people.

2) To use two highly prepared teams, what are operated by following instructions, what are made in their mind by using electromagnetic or subliminal acoustic systems. And then those programs will activate by using monarch triggers. 

I have many times thought about the possibility to make psychohistory possible in the real life. Could that kind of mathematical formula, what allows to calculate the actions of the large groups of humans possible? Theoretically, there is the possibility to conduct the mathematical formula, which can use to calculate the behavior of the billions of people by conducting them from the NTP (Natural Temperature Pressure)-formulas, which invented Ludwig Boltzmann. Those mathematical formulas allow calculating the movements of the large gas masses, and the results are more accurate when the gas masses are large.

The higher the gas mass, the more accurate the result of those equations. There has been introduced that the actions of the neurotransmitters are also tried to calculate by using similar formulas, what Boltzmann created in 19th. century. By using that information the computer could map and predict the behavior of a certain person. If we are thinking possibility to pre-calculate the operations of neurotransmitters and the electric actions in the human brain, that thing seems to have a very good chance for success, because the number of neurons is very high.

And if the common movements and interactions of the human brains, where is more neurons and axons than there are stars in the Milky Way making the simulation of how that kind of entirety acts might seem possible. But that thing requires certain and precise data of the functions of the certain neurotransmitters and if that data exists, there is the possibility to make similar calculations that are making possible to simulate the behavior of the certain person.

But there is another way to think about the psychohistory. And in that case, the famous writer might mean that psychohistory is only mental manipulation.

In that case, the crisis or the actions that are causing the crisis might code to the memory or the mind of the people, who are making decisions in the futuristic and imaginational interstellar empire. For making crisis real, the creator of the thing, the fictional character Hari Seldon must only have two groups. Those groups would locate in two hypothetical planets "Trantor" and "Terminus".

2) Terminus group.

The "Trantor" would be covered planet, and that allows to use of the loudspeaker system, which would transmit the subliminal commands for people who are on that planet. Or maybe the fictional Hari Seldon would use the electromagnetic system for driving data straight to the brains of the people.

The action that is causing the crisis is programmed in the brains of the "Trantor" team. And the counteraction for that thing would program to the "Terminus group". And when the people, who are making decisions are facing a crisis, they are going to the chamber, where the hologram of Hari Seldon would tell them what to do.

Of course, that advice fits in those situations are very useful, because the creator of the fictional "foundation" has put them to the tapes. And things like movements of the stars are activating those tapes. In this version in the mind of the ruling-class people would simply make the "monarch-trigger" by using electromagnetic or acoustic systems. And then something just activate those actions
