The solar-powered ion thrusters can be the next generation space engines for traveling inside the asteroid belt.

The ion thrusters have one problem, their thrust is very weak. But there is a solution for that problem, and one is just sending vaporized iron or some other ions backward. If the other ion flow will go forward. That thing can make it possible to make the ion rocket that can accelerate very fast.

That kind of ion thruster that will push ions to both sides can look like the artists' impression of futuristic antimatter craft, which is above this text. The fact is that the ion and antimatter thrusters can use very similar technology.

But the normal ions are safer and less energetic than antimatter. The craft can be a hybrid of solar sail and ion engine system. If the large plate at the front of the craft is made of metal the energy can transfer to the craft by using coherent radio waves.

The high power radio impulses would transfer energy to the craft. But there could be many other ways to make the system, that can operate in our solar system. The large array at the forward of the craft can operate also as the solar sail. The thing is that the ion thrusters can operate inside the asteroid belt by using solar panels.

So in the asteroid belt, the craft doesn't even need the nuclear reactor. And if we want to make the ecological spacecraft, that doesn't even need nuclear reactors, the system can benefit the plasma rings of the planets. Or the energy can deliver to the spacecraft by using radio-masers.

But it can also use to take energy from the plasma of the sun. And it can be covered by silicon panels that are creating energy to the accelerator behind the craft what will decrease the need to use nuclear power. This might be the future of space technology.

Solar-power ion thrusters can make it possible to travel inside the asteroid belt at least between Mercury, Venus, and Earth. When the craft comes near the Mercury, it can load its batteries and when it goes back to Earth, it can use the solar sail very effectively.

Plasmonic waves can make new waves in quantum technology.

"LSU researchers have made a significant discovery related to the fundamental properties and behavior of plasmonic waves, which can lead ot the development of more sensitive and robust quantum technologies. Credit: LSU" (ScitechDaily, Plasmonics Breakthrough Unleashes New Era of Quantum Technologies) Plasmonic waves in the quantum gas are the next-generation tools. The plasmonic wave is quite similar to radio waves. Or, rather say it, a combination of acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves. Quantum gas is an atom group. In those atom groups, temperature and pressure are extremely low.  The distance of atoms is long. And when an electromagnetic system can pump energy to those atoms. But the thing in quantum gas is that the atoms also make physical movements like soundwaves. It's possible. To create quantum gas using monoatomic ions like ionized noble gas. In those systems, positive (or negative) atoms push each other away.  When the box is filled with quantum gas and som

Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.
