Is everything a simulation?
One of the most exotic philosophical theories is that everything is some kind of simulation. The origin of that theory is in computer science. The idea that human EEG or all memories of the human can be stored on the internet. And then those memories would be transfer to the other person like a cloned child, and then that thing allows a person to live forever.
The fact is that in theory, we could create synthetic EEG by using computer programming languages. So other ways saying we can create the synthetic soul for people.
The idea for this "joke" that we are some kind of computer program is based on the advanced programming languages and the thing that our thoughts and other things that are happening in our brains are an electric vortex. That means that by using some advancing programming we could create the synthetic electric phenomenon that is similar to the EEG, and we can drive that thing in the brains of people.
The idea is that the person's body will be cloned, and then the memories just transfer in the brains by using the electric impulses, which are targeted to the brain core. The advantage is that what if we would live in the memory of some kind of supercomputer? There are many versions of that theory or philosophical dilemma.
The one version is that every creature is the bit-line in the memory of the giant supercomputer, and that is one of the most famous so-called "joke theories", what I have ever seen. Another version is that some people are lying in some deep underground base or space station, and they are controlling the biorobots on the ground. In this case, the person self would be connected to the internet by using the neural connection. And the bio-robot is representing that person on the ground.
When we are thinking about the possibility that we would be some kind of computer program, we must ask one interesting philosophical question. Even if we would be some kind of computer program, we must ask does that thing change anything? Are we free from natural laws in that case? When we are thinking about that kind of idea, the world is full of extraordinary people. And extraordinary people have extraordinary ideas.
