The circle of the saint.
The image above this text is Saint Jude, by Giovanni Baglioni c. 1600. The thing that makes this painting interesting is the way, how the circle around the head is painted. Normally those circles of the saints are portrayed as used the colorful areas or some kind of ornamental structures, and that thing seems like a hat or solid object.
In this painting, the circle of the saint seems like some kind of steam or a foggy object. That object is surrounding the head of the person. So there is one thing that this thing can mean. First, there is a possibility that Baglioni just wanted to mark that the person he portrayed was the saint. And that thing is the most common thing why the circle of the saint is painted in the painting. The reason was simple, that the people knew that the image is portraying some saint.
But there is another explanation
There is a theory that the circle around the person's head could be the result of the extraordinary high-power electric vortex in the brains and especially in the pineal gland. And that extraordinary high-voltage electric vortex causes the compression circle around the person's head.
The pineal gland is the mystic part of the human brains(1). There is a theory that the pineal gland is the thing, that is connected to other dimensions. The way how that organ could make it could be that some chemical combinations could oscillate or resonate with the electromagnetic impulses, which is coming from nature. So could the nervous system of some people just increase those signals in the level, that person realizes them? Also, the magnetite crystals (2) in brains are causing electromagnetic resonance in the nervous system.
So could be possible in real life? The thing is that if the air is cold, the damp percent is high, and the conditions are stable, there is a possibility that the even quite low voltage electric signal can cause the circle around the object. And that thing is causing interesting theorem about things like saints. The thing is that the saint is the person, whose nervous system has extraordinary high voltage. We know that the electric vortexes are affecting the nervous system and the magnetite crystals in human brains are acting as a radio receiver. So are the saints people, whose receiver is stronger than normally?
When we are thinking about things like holy sees, we must realize that everything about that experience should be researched. There is a possibility that in some kind of stressful situation the level of certain neurotransmitters is rising and the person sees the hallucinations.
But the thing is that that the rising level of those neurotransmitters causes changes in the chemical composition of the nervous system. So could that thing cause some visions, what have translated as "holy visions"? The thing is that when researchers are trying to find out the thing what makes those person saints is that they should find out everything that happens during the thing?
What did a person eat? Did that saint eat some mushrooms that might cause the vision or hallucination, and what kind of experiences are predicted that thing? And the most important thing is what made those visions different than some other hallucinations? Who described those as the "holy visions"?
