When we are thinking about the system, what would move masses forward and backward, we can create the engine, which would need no propellant. But at first, we must terminate the effect of the backward affecting force if we would make that engine work. The idea is that the two particles would shoot separately, and then the other particle would push the layer at the front of the tube. This thing would work like some sail, where the wind of the particles will hit the forward, and pushing the craft like the wind. "Cosmic popcorn machine"

Then those particles will be back together. There are two ways to make that engine operating. The first case only the particles, that are hitting the wall what is the side, where that craft should move are reaching the wall, which means that the system will get more energy from that side. The other kind of system would be acting like the cosmic popcorn machine, where particles would shoot to forward of the chamber, and then then they would release their energy to the wall of the chamber, and return to the bottom.

Image I The interesting coincidence between  USS Sea Shadow (1982) and CSS Virginia (1862) Far away from its time is the thing, that you might notice when you see those two images. The upper one (Image I) is portraying the modern naval USS Sea Shadow (IX-529)(1) experimental Stealth ship, which was created by Lockheed-Martin, and the image below (Image II) is portraying the CSS Virginia (2), the ironclad from the Civil War Era. The thing why the hull of the CSS Virginia, what is ironclad from 1862 is that the ammunition of the cannons would not transfer their impact energy to the hull of the ship.
