The plasma-protection field might become true very soon

Boeing has patented the plasma protection shield(1). In most Sci-Fi, the craft is surrounded by the energy shield that protects the craft against death rays and material ammunition. But can we someday make that kind of energy shield, what protects the vehicle from the bullets and missiles? The fact is that there is a possibility that the craft is surrounded by plasma.

The magnetic field of the vehicle can push the ionized gas away from its core. The system uses two polar plasma or plus and minus ions. The craft itself can blow the other polar plasma and the drones that are at the outer side of the plasma bubble would blow the plasma, which has another polarity. This thing can form the bubble-form electric arc around the vehicle, and a similar system can use electrons and protons if there are no other ions to use.

In other versions, the plasma orbits the protected target. And then the radar will send another polarity electricity to around that plasma bubble. When some target is coming, the radar will load the opposite polar electricity to that target, what the plasma has. Then the magnetic effect of that incoming object will pull the plasma to it, and that thing makes the new type of missile defense possible. And the thing is that maybe soldiers of tomorrow have the personal plasma fields around them, what are offering protection against bullets. The protection against lasers can be made by creating vapor inside the plasma ball, which can suck at least part of the energy of the laser ray.

The plasma field turns the cosmic radiation away from the core of the spacecraft, and that thing makes it a very interesting opportunity for protecting satellites and manned spacecraft. If we are thinking that the plasma-bubble is acting as a protective field, that thing can bring new opportunities for many things.

One thing, that might need protective energy or plasma-layer is the space probes and space stations. Those things are facing micro-asteroids in their journeys. But the problem with physical armor is that every hit, what effects the physical armor makes a small hole on it, and sooner or later the armor is gone. The energy or plasma field stays a long time, and that thing can make very long-term space missions possible.

Plasmonic waves can make new waves in quantum technology.

"LSU researchers have made a significant discovery related to the fundamental properties and behavior of plasmonic waves, which can lead ot the development of more sensitive and robust quantum technologies. Credit: LSU" (ScitechDaily, Plasmonics Breakthrough Unleashes New Era of Quantum Technologies) Plasmonic waves in the quantum gas are the next-generation tools. The plasmonic wave is quite similar to radio waves. Or, rather say it, a combination of acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves. Quantum gas is an atom group. In those atom groups, temperature and pressure are extremely low.  The distance of atoms is long. And when an electromagnetic system can pump energy to those atoms. But the thing in quantum gas is that the atoms also make physical movements like soundwaves. It's possible. To create quantum gas using monoatomic ions like ionized noble gas. In those systems, positive (or negative) atoms push each other away.  When the box is filled with quantum gas and som
