If we are thinking Donald Duck as the target for propaganda the Mickey Mouse would be the actor, who uses that method. Mickey wants the effect to Donald, that this person will give the vote to him and his political party or ideology. In this point, we must remember that all political commercials are some kind of propaganda and the most effective way to make an effect to own ideology of those people is ask them what they want, and in that case, promise something, what is near to those people, whose support that candidate wants to get. 

Too high taxes and other things are of course things, what is affecting the political agenda, and then the other thing is that things like membership in the EU are far away from the everyday life of those people. And that means that things like "Brexit" are far away from the everyday life of normal people. One of the things, what politician can make is put the one "bad thing" in the middle of other good things. 

Divorcement from the European Union is only one of the themes in the election campaigns of the parties of Great Britain, and that means this kind of thing is easy to slip in the middle of promises, what people would get, "if there is money". And where the money can get? Just divorcing from the EU answers many problems, and the main thing is that payments, what went in the EU will go to the advantage of the British community. 

And of course, removing those payments means that the taxes would go down in that way. This means that the department of treasury can decrease the need to collect taxes by the sum of the bills, which went to the European Union. This means that the regular worker would get more money to the pocket. So the thing, that populists always promise is easy answers. What if we would remove taxes from society. 

That means that people would get more money, but they can carry that money straight to insurance companies. This is one of the problems of low taxes. The government would save money, but things like health and other things would go to the hands of private corporations, and we all need sometimes things like dentists and medical care. Those things are necessary for people, but the fact is that we always forget how important those services are, if we would not need those things for a while. 

But things like water supply electricity and other things are also important. The water and electric supply along with sanitary systems are also important for cities. Without those systems, the city will sink to garbage and also people can sit in candlelight. Without water, we would not have a chance to take care of hygiene, and that means those services would be a good way to earn money. If we are privatizing thing, what everybody must use, that thing will bring very big money into our pocket.
