A new type of matter has been found in heavy neutron stars

Neutron stars may contain free quarks. That is one of the most fundamental observations in science. The researchers of the University of Helsinki have been discovered quarks in the neutron stars, and that has been opened new visions for researchers to discover the new type of material, and collect the puzzle of the universe more perfect and accurate than it ever has been before (1). 

That thing will open the road to discover the new type of stars, the quark stars, and "grey holes" in the universe. The term "quark star" means the star, what is forming of quarks, and this means that the mass of those stars would be bigger than neutron stars but smaller than black holes(2). Image II shows the difference between neutron and quark stars. "Grey hole" or so-called "Tau-star" means the star, which has the same escaping velocity with light. 

The question is: does the gravity slow the photons? If that thing is true, the speed of light is not stable in the universe. And if the speed of light is not stable that doesn't mean that other objects can travel faster than photons, if they are in the same gravity bubble.

The thing what makes the last one so interesting is that they can increase our knowledge of the form of the light, and it can also give answer would the photon also slow, when it comes out from gravity field. The gravity lens proves that gravity affects light or photons and changes their trajectory, but if the light would slow, that means that the speed of the light is not stable around the universe.

What if we could create structures, what are forming pure neutrons? would that make it possible to create the "quantum fullerene"?

If we could make the material, what is forming neutron stars on Earth, that would open the new way to make very hard structures. In theory, that kind of neutron structure can be created by using the same methods, which are used to handle carbon in nanotechnology. So the neutrons can form the new structures, what are calling as "quantum materials" or "quantum fullerene". If we would cover the metals by using this kind of material, that would make it possible to make layers, what cannot harm by using any kind of material tool. 

The thing that makes neutron stars even more fascinating research object is that neutrons are forming the toughest material in the universe. The neutron has to poles like a planet, and this means that it acts like an atom, and forms the lattice, which is similar to what metal atoms are forming. So in this atomic structure, the atoms are replaced by neutrons, and this means that the lattice is stronger than any other material in the world. 

Except for the thing, that is called quark lattice. If quarks can be found somewhere in the universe, that means that the structures, what they are forming would be stronger than even neutrons. So, in theory, we could make this kind of material on the Earth. The thing is that the neutrons can shoot to form by using some kind of ion cannon, and if they could be stopped in a certain place, that opens the new road to the material research.
