Researchers are starting to look for the techno signatures from other stars

So this is the new step for SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) program. For the first time, researchers can search for things like markings of pollution from the other planets, what are locating at some other solar systems. The problem is that when we are starting to find out the pollution at the distant planets, we must realize that this way to search for the intelligent lifeforms and civilizations require that the civilization would just use the similar combustion engines, what we are using.

And the thing, what makes this kind of thing problematic is that there is a possibility that civilization uses some other power sources like geothermal energy or power satellites, which transmits the electricity to that hypothetical planet by suing maser radiation. The thing is that in some visions in the future the motorways would act like railroads, and the cars of tomorrow would travel on those high-tech motorways automatically, and every car would get electricity from the motorway, where those electric vehicles would drive automatically.

But that is one of the futuristic visions, which are waiting for practical solutions. So if the hypothetical alien civilization would use this kind of technology, that means that the civilization would not pollute their planet as we do.

There is another way to detect the high-tech civilization, and that thing is to follow the radio impulses, what that hypothetical civilization would send to the universe. And the most promising thing to make the detection of that kind of civilization is to follow the synthetic radio frequencies and the problem is that this kind of frequencies is used in everyday radio communication. That means that there would be problems with data security in this kind of research.

If we will receive signal by using synthetic radio frequency, that means that we should open that signal, that we will know, what kind of thing transmits that signal. And that thing would be the biggest problem in history because when cryptologists and mathematicians are trying to open that signal, they don't even know, what kind of system the creator of those signals uses. That means that researchers don't know a thing about the senders. And that makes the breaking the code more complicated than making the same thing, with messages, what are made by humans.

The thing is that if the aliens would communicate with synthetic radio frequency, that means that the researchers need to find the right frequency, and that takes time. Even the entire human life cannot be enough to find out all radio frequencies. So if the bandwidth is very thin, the tuner must be exactly at the right point. And there is also the possibility, that telescope will turn away from some star. And start to listen to the next target, and just at that moment, the message would travel across the Earth.

If the researchers would survey the natural radio frequencies like hydrogen alpha-line emission (1420 MHz), that means that the radio signals are hard to detect from the universe. And there is a theory that the Ozma-message ever got out from our solar system. But those humanoids can also communicate by using the laser or optical frequencies, which makes this research even more complicated.

The sun is acting like an ECM-jammer system, and it would cover too weak radio signals under it. And the same thing happens if the message comes from the other stars. So if we want to make the contact by using hydrogen-alpha emission we would need an extremely powerful transmitter, that aliens would detect us, or the natural radio signals would cover that message under them.

Plasmonic waves can make new waves in quantum technology.

"LSU researchers have made a significant discovery related to the fundamental properties and behavior of plasmonic waves, which can lead ot the development of more sensitive and robust quantum technologies. Credit: LSU" (ScitechDaily, Plasmonics Breakthrough Unleashes New Era of Quantum Technologies) Plasmonic waves in the quantum gas are the next-generation tools. The plasmonic wave is quite similar to radio waves. Or, rather say it, a combination of acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves. Quantum gas is an atom group. In those atom groups, temperature and pressure are extremely low.  The distance of atoms is long. And when an electromagnetic system can pump energy to those atoms. But the thing in quantum gas is that the atoms also make physical movements like soundwaves. It's possible. To create quantum gas using monoatomic ions like ionized noble gas. In those systems, positive (or negative) atoms push each other away.  When the box is filled with quantum gas and som

Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.
