Why Reinhard Heydrich was assassinated?
Nobody ever is sad because of the death of SS-general (Obergruppenführer) Reinhard Heydrich (1904-1942)(1). The man who planned holocaust and lead the RSHA and Gestapo. He was in a key role when those organizations turned against the political resistance of Adolph Hitler, the man who made Heydrich his successor as the leader of Germany.
I have written many times about this man, and the assassination operation, which caused the death of this brutal and notorious leader of one of the most notorious leaders of the servants of Adolph Hitler. The question is, "why Heydrich was the only SS-leader who ordered to be killed by SOE (Service Operations Executive), and the name of the operation was "Operation Anthropoid"(2). The names of those operatives are on that page, what is marked as "Source 2".
Also, details of things like the jam of the Sten-gun during the attentate, which is a quite interesting detail. Why that sub-machine gun jammed just at that moment? Did somebody make something to the ammunition like remove the gunpowder from them?
The bomb exploded in the middle of the car
The explosion happened symmetrically in the middle under the car. So was that hand grenade or bomb, what was in the middle of the car. And why Heydrich must not be killed by a sniper? Was the reason for that method that SOE wanted to make SS-leaders believe that there were cooperatives or agents in the headquarters of Gestapo and give the sing, that nobody will be safe.
One strange detail in the case of the murder or assassination of SS-leader Reinhard Heydrich is that the car, where that man sat when the bomb explodes below it and throw the vehicle to air, it returned to the ground after flying 30 meters on the wheels or this is how eye-witnesses told during the interview. That thing means that the bomb exploded symmetrically in the middle of the bullet-proof Mercedes-Benz limousine, and the mark of that vehicle was Mercedes-Benz W142 or "Typ-302" (3).
The hand grenade, what the SOE agent used in that attentate was thermobaric but was explosive, which caused the death of that bloody SS-General preinstalled in the middle of the car in the garage? There were only a few people, who could make that thing, and when we are thinking about this assassination, there is only one question: why the SS-leader Heydrich was ordered to kill? Why nobody else was ordered that way by giving the name for a target for murder? There are many things, which makes this operation interesting.
Heydrich was planned as the successor of Adolph Hitler, and the death of that man was a really important thing if we are thinking about the internal corruption and fight the power in the Nazi party. So was the reason for that attentate that Heydrich resists the personal orders of Himmler, who ordered that man stay away from his "reconnaissance missions". Heydrich was shot down during one of those missions, and there was danger, that this man would be captured.
But the reason why some people in the SS-headquarters didn't like that kind of wild thing was that during those flights Heydrich was out of control. There was also the possibility that Heydrich would tell about the Wannsee-Conference(4), where he ordered the final solution, to kill all Jews from Europe. If Heydrich would tell that kind of thing to pilots by accident, that could be a catastrophe.
