Thoughts about Stanislaw Lem book Solaris

Solaris is one of the most interesting books, which are written in the field of futurology and science fiction. In that book, the writer introduces the lifeforms, which is different from what we ever imagine. The planet is covered by the ocean, which is like a giant amoeba, but there are also neurons inside that ocean, which makes it the giant brains. What if we would someday find the planet, what is covered by the neurons? That means that on that hypothetical planet would be giant brains and the thing that makes that kind of brains could be the most intelligent species in our Galaxy.

But there is one thing, what makes that kind of alien even more interesting than we ever thought. The thing is that kind of brains are without stimulation if we are thinking that there are chlorophyll molecules inside those neurons, or they can be symbiotic with some kind of alga, that creature could be so-called "mono-organism". This means that the organism is the only living creature on that planet. Because there are no competitors for that kind of alien, that thing doesn't have anybody with communication. So that kind of thing must have some models, and interaction, that it could create things.

And of course, even the most intelligent lifeforms must have hands and fingers, what it can use to create things like space rockets. Without stimulation, the motive and ability to move that kind of organism could be just empty brains. Brains where is not single memories except the visions of stars, if that organism would have eyes. But if it is just the network of neurons, that kind of creature would be "just the empty brains".

What would we do with that thing? If that kind of thing can be someday in the distant future found there is a possibility that we could communicate with it. The communication would be done by using the electromagnetic stimulation, what would be given to those neurons by using the spacecraft, what is landed on it. Or the satellite would send the electromagnetic transmission to that neural network.

That thing allows the neural network would be used as the "servant", what mission would assist the data handling processes on the Earth. Would we ever find that kind of thing? Maybe not, if there is no suitable planet for lifeforms in the distance, where we can travel. But there is one little change. There is a possibility that in the distant future we would combine genomes of neurons and some photosynthetic bacteria.

Then we would deliver that organism to planet Pluto. After that, we could make the nuclear-powered solar-light lamp, which would make that bacteria able to photosynthesis, but that could require that those neural bacteria will put under the polymeric layer, which protects it against extreme cold. This could be used to adjust the vitality of those giant artificial brains. If that thing is possible to make someday that thing would make it possible to create the most intelligent thing in the world. But this is one of those "what if" writings, what is written things, what might be possible to create in the future.

Plasmonic waves can make new waves in quantum technology.

"LSU researchers have made a significant discovery related to the fundamental properties and behavior of plasmonic waves, which can lead ot the development of more sensitive and robust quantum technologies. Credit: LSU" (ScitechDaily, Plasmonics Breakthrough Unleashes New Era of Quantum Technologies) Plasmonic waves in the quantum gas are the next-generation tools. The plasmonic wave is quite similar to radio waves. Or, rather say it, a combination of acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves. Quantum gas is an atom group. In those atom groups, temperature and pressure are extremely low.  The distance of atoms is long. And when an electromagnetic system can pump energy to those atoms. But the thing in quantum gas is that the atoms also make physical movements like soundwaves. It's possible. To create quantum gas using monoatomic ions like ionized noble gas. In those systems, positive (or negative) atoms push each other away.  When the box is filled with quantum gas and som

Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.

"Researchers have created a novel metamaterial that can dynamically tune its shape and properties in real-time, offering unprecedented adaptability for applications in robotics and smart materials. This development bridges the gap between current materials and the adaptability seen in nature, paving the way for the future of adaptive technologies. The metamorphosis in the material can thermally activate.  AI is the ultimate tool for metamaterial research. Metamaterials are nanotechnical- or quantum technical tools that can change their properties, like reflection or state from solid to liquid when the electric or optical effect hits that material.
