Why one man is looking away from the king?

In medieval paintings is usually a person, who is looking away or acting differently than others. The main character in those paintings is many times high-ranking people, and other people are looking at that person, but somebody will look at something else? And sometimes people are asking the reason for that thing. Sometimes we might answer that question by asking, "what is the thing, what is interesting in the direction, where that person is looking at?".

The purpose of those paintings has been, that they were used as training equipment, and the idea was that the people must realize that the person, who was looking to somewhere else had something really interesting to look at. And one of them was the sign, that the action can start. The other purpose was to give tip, that even if the entire world is hailing the king, there is always somebody, who has different opinions.

So any character in the painting was made without purpose. The second image is portraying the situation, that the woman who has a black hat is looking at the other woman, while the king or queen is talking. The thing, that creature, what that woman is looking at might be at the lap of another woman, or at least behind the shield. 

There is a possibility that there is a book hidden in the cover from the eyes, and the thing, that might be in there could be the notebook. Then we might introduce the induction thought that could that woman follow that the speakers are following a certain order or protocol. Another possibility could be that the notebook involves the speech, what that person is keeping. 

And the possibility could be that somebody else could be written that speech for the speaker. But who that person could be? Who has the right to put the words in the mouth of majesty? The thing is that if the speech, what is kept by some nobleman is made by somebody else, that should also be mentioned when the speech has been made. So the thing is that there could be the case that the evidence about the hidden or secret keeper of power would be found from some bedroom. 

Many times there are warnings in this kind of paintings, and one is that if the person is not careful, that kind of thing that somebody will keep the control in the country without public position can be uncovered. One thing is sure, there is always a person, who knows if the speech or work is made by somebody else. And that person is the maker of the speech if that person hears those words, what are written in the paper.
