When the social media turns to polarizing information

When the social media turns to polarizing information

When we are talking about social media, we are forgetting that those companies are "only" media companies. They want freedom for the media, but they want the freedom to benefit the owners of those companies. The biggest difference between social- and traditional media is that in traditional media the content is made by journalists.

In social media, the users are people, who are making the content, and that means that the level and involvement of social media are very colorful. And colorful information makes the large-scale of users, who have unique interests to use social media.

That means that marketing companies want to benefit social media for marketing soaps and other kinds of things. The other side of the medal is that the intelligence services and psychological operators want also to use the same channels for collecting the data and making the targeted propaganda for people. The same tools made Brexit possible can used for marketing soap. The same algorithms that are collecting data for the favorite color of the skirt collected data that made Great Britain's divorce from the EU true.

And the owners of those companies are "only humans", what means that they have their political and moralistic ideology, and the owners are making the decisions, what kind of line would the moderators have. And social media like every other media has a great influence on people, who are using it for benefiting their interests. This thing can cause the polarization of social media.

How social media can polarize information and make it a one-sided propaganda machine? The answer is simple, just allowing publications that are supporting the moderator's political and moralistic way to see things. All information that is not supporting the opinion of the moderators or owners of social media can be removed. When we are thinking about the advantage of social media, we must realize that there are big markets for marketing, and social media is a very powerful tool for marketing because it offers a good platform for targeted commercials.

And the thing that helps in that process is the user profile, what mission is to profile the user, and what mission is to find out, what kind of things are interesting about the certain user. The targeted commercials mean, that things, what are interested in the user, and then that person could buy more merchandise if the commercials are involving data, what targeted person wants to see.

The maker of the commercial is following several clicks to that commercial. And the effect of the commercial to sales. If the incoming money is decreasing the commercial will be removed immediately. But when we are thinking about the money, what is moving in social media, we must understand that there are billions of dollars. That money waiting for their takers.

When the billions of dollars are behind some service or company, that thing makes their methods for marketing themselves very acceptable. The big money makes it possible that social media companies can offer money for the campaigns of politicians. Social media companies have one thing better than traditional media companies. They can show the number of users of that media, and this thing makes an impression to marketing companies.

Big money has a big influence. This thing has been in the entertainment business, things that were strictly prohibited in the past are now allowed. Thanks to the money that the entertainment industry gave to politicians and big money are always welcome.

And because the user of social media doesn't pay money for the company, that makes the user should just tolerate the commercials, or otherways the user can leave from that place. But the other thing is that the money that social media companies can offer to politicians and other actors like network companies has a great influence.

When the data connections are getting cheaper and the speed of the data is increasing, we must remember that the money for that technology like 5G data connections must be taken from somewhere. And the companies of the social media and entertainment industry are really interesting to sponsor that kind of advantage. But the thing is that nobody gives money for free. Those companies want something. They want freedom but the mission of freedom is to serve the benefit of the owners of those companies.

Plasmonic waves can make new waves in quantum technology.

"LSU researchers have made a significant discovery related to the fundamental properties and behavior of plasmonic waves, which can lead ot the development of more sensitive and robust quantum technologies. Credit: LSU" (ScitechDaily, Plasmonics Breakthrough Unleashes New Era of Quantum Technologies) Plasmonic waves in the quantum gas are the next-generation tools. The plasmonic wave is quite similar to radio waves. Or, rather say it, a combination of acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves. Quantum gas is an atom group. In those atom groups, temperature and pressure are extremely low.  The distance of atoms is long. And when an electromagnetic system can pump energy to those atoms. But the thing in quantum gas is that the atoms also make physical movements like soundwaves. It's possible. To create quantum gas using monoatomic ions like ionized noble gas. In those systems, positive (or negative) atoms push each other away.  When the box is filled with quantum gas and som

Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.

"Researchers have created a novel metamaterial that can dynamically tune its shape and properties in real-time, offering unprecedented adaptability for applications in robotics and smart materials.
