Can we someday move stars? (Part II)
A simple scheme of the fusion engine
When we are looking at the image, of the system that can move stars, that thing is similar to the normal fusion motor. But the scale would be larger. The fusion engine would create the artificial star inside it, and then the magnets would pull the alpha-particles backward. The thing about super technology is that the scale of it would be different than the regular technology. And here I must say, that researchers have not made a single functional fusion engine yet, so that engine is in the theoretical level.
The thing is that this magnet track, what accelerates particles can virtualize by using nanotechnology. The large group of nanomachines would create a long accelerator track, which can accelerate the particles very high speed. Those nanomachines can be connected to the spacecraft by using extremely powerful magnets, what are pulling those things behind the spacecraft. That thing would give more capacity for interstellar ramjet.
The size of the system that is needed for moving the star would be larger. The nozzle can be virtualized by using a large group of satellites that can aim the ion thrust in a certain direction. The link to the first part of this text is found below in this text.
