Why the USA's influence has decreased since the 1990s?

The U.S dominance in the world has been decreased in the world? In the 1990s the U.S media dominated the information of the world. CNN and other media offices were the most powerful tool in the hands of the U.S financial and political actors. And when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, people in the world rush to introduce their anti-communism and tell people how the liberated media opened their eyes.

That reaction is connected to the USA, which dominated the worldwide media. People explained the fast-growing influence of the USA as a powerful counter-reaction for communism. When the resistance for the U.S dominance is lost, the tidal wave of the western values falls to the ex-communist states.

But another reason for the U.S dominance in the late 1990s and early 21st century was the dominance of media. English was the global language, and that makes it easier to follow the CNN news than Russian and Chinese media. And that thing is a good way to collect the audience. People are easier to follow the news, what made by language, what they understand.

And many things, what was told in the areas of science and other things were reported by U.S media. The time for those broadcast was of course limited and the topics for news selected because they were interesting. But then came the Internet. Even without social media, that thing allowed to search data freely straight from the homepages of the organizations, and especially in the world of computer specialists the homepages of the organizations like RIKE were useful.

The supercomputer institutes and research units are not very popular topics for the news, because there is not very much to see. There are only coffins in the room and some people in white overalls around those things. Computing like coding is not very impressive, but it requires accuracy. But if we want to make news about that kind of thing, that means that there is not very much to show. Computer programming and other kinds of stuff are interested only in the people, who are working with those things.

Also, actors like the People's Republic of China have seen how powerful tool the Internet is. The internet has caused that the information can get also from other places than straight from CNN and that thing rises also other actors to the public knowledge. If there is more data to share that means the possibility that the user of the internet clicks certain homepage decreases, even the homepage is well-known.

The homepages or links to homepages can share on social media, and that guarantees that somebody is clicking those things. There is one thing that has caused criticism against the U.S media is that some people are seeing that media is polarized. And they are blaming CNN for one-side information sharing, which is supporting only the U.S government. We are forgetting that CNN is a private corporation, what purpose is to bring money for the owners. So the news is selected because for using the method, that they are bringing the audience.  And that is the problem. There are no absolute neutral media in the world. Every media office is owned by some person who has a nationality.

The thing is that every media office in the world has a hometown. So we are forgetting that every media office in the world is under the influence of the national authorities and political-economical control. If some businessman would buy the media company, that means that the company sings the song, what that businessman wants. And the national authorities can also affect the owners of the media houses.

They can arrest the family members of that person, or they can just take the passport away, and that is the thing, that makes this kind of thing problematic. Even in the most undemocratic countries are businessmen, who have money. And those people can operate as the "private persons", but the truth is that they are investing the money of the government. If they reject the cooperation offer from the security police, they are in very deep trouble. And this is how the security authorities in some countries can affect the media in another country. They just buy the media house by using some businessman as a middleman by using some and start to publish what they want.

Plasmonic waves can make new waves in quantum technology.

"LSU researchers have made a significant discovery related to the fundamental properties and behavior of plasmonic waves, which can lead ot the development of more sensitive and robust quantum technologies. Credit: LSU" (ScitechDaily, Plasmonics Breakthrough Unleashes New Era of Quantum Technologies) Plasmonic waves in the quantum gas are the next-generation tools. The plasmonic wave is quite similar to radio waves. Or, rather say it, a combination of acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves. Quantum gas is an atom group. In those atom groups, temperature and pressure are extremely low.  The distance of atoms is long. And when an electromagnetic system can pump energy to those atoms. But the thing in quantum gas is that the atoms also make physical movements like soundwaves. It's possible. To create quantum gas using monoatomic ions like ionized noble gas. In those systems, positive (or negative) atoms push each other away.  When the box is filled with quantum gas and som

Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.

"Researchers have created a novel metamaterial that can dynamically tune its shape and properties in real-time, offering unprecedented adaptability for applications in robotics and smart materials. This development bridges the gap between current materials and the adaptability seen in nature, paving the way for the future of adaptive technologies.
