Bussard ramjet

One of the most interesting versions of the futuristic interstellar rockets that theorists have invented is the so-called Bussard ramjet. In that system, the magnetic funnel would pull the ions from the space to the track, where the lasers would ignite the fusion reaction. If the spacecraft would have an aerodynamic body, that thing allows it to fly in the atmosphere.

The thing is that the same system can also work as WARP-drive and the normal hypersonic scramjet. The regular scramjet engines might look like the "Buzzard ramjet", and there is a possibility that the spacecraft of the future would use the combinations of the normal, hydrogen-burning scramjet, where is connected the WARP or fusion system, what allows them to operate at the solar system.

The ion jet engines

 

The ion jet engine or the electromagnetic ramjet can work undersea and airborne devices. The idea is simple. Air or water would be ionized at the front of the system, and then the magnetic track would drive those ions through it.

The ion jet engine is not the same thing as a cathode engine. The cathode engine uses an electron ray to giving thrust. The ion jet engine has a more powerful thrust than the cathode engine, and it can operate also in the atmosphere if the density and power of the ions are high enough. The ion jet engine uses ions, what the system would pull through the channel.

There is a possibility to install the magnetic system, what would press the ions together, and the laser that starts the fusion. This kind of engine system would need external energy like high-power turbines or nuclear reactor for maintaining the fusion reaction. Or maybe in the future, the energy for that kind of system can deliver by using some kind of energy rays.

The electric jet engine is one of the most impressive systems in the world. The system itself doesn't require internal fuel if the electricity can deliver to the system by using some other method like maser rays or some other kind of radiation. The ion jet engine would ionize the gas, what comes in the engine at the front, and then the engine would have the opposite rotating magnets around the jet pipe, what will accelerate the ionized gas in that tube, what would give very good speed to the exhaust gas.

There could be two linear tubes in that engine, and the magnets would accelerate the pls and minus polar ions in the same direction. The thing is that this kind of system would not require the moving parts, and when we are thinking that the acceleration tubes would also give the system able to operate as the WARP or magneto dynamic drive, that thing could give the airplane ability what is missing from other similar systems. That aircraft can operate as well as underwater and airborne conditions if that aircraft can have a suitable power source.

The thing is that the ion engine can operate as well as a weapon like an engine. If the target would load by using the opposite mark electricity than ions, it would pull them to it. The electromagnetic engine is one of the most fascinating ideas ever got. The remarkable thing is that the electromagnetic engine can work if it is connected with the rocket engine. In this model, the electromagnetic engine would install in the rockets combustion chamber, and the pumping system would give electricity to the ion engine. The ions can pump to the chamber by using the tube, which is going through the rocket.

So that kind of system could be a very multipurpose tool, which can have many abilities. The problem is how to get the electricity to that engine. This is the thing, that makes the system hard to make.
