Nature as the model for high-tech systems

Ibex and MULE robot

Ibex (I) is one of the most brilliant climbers on our planet, and the reason why this animal has that brilliant skill is the rams of it. The reason why this animal is interesting engineers, what is working for Lockheed-Martin and other kinds of technology companies is that the structure and movement tracks of the feet of this animal can be copied to the MULE-robots (Image II), and that thing allows that the artificial robot can get the similar abilities, what those animals have.

Image II

The imaging of the movement of the feet must be done by using the ultrasound system, which would not disturb the animal itself, and that thing allows us to copy the form of the bones of the rams and feet of this marvelous animal. The thing, that makes ibex itself interesting is that itself can be trained to carry equipment, and track people. So it can work with the search and rescue teams as the role of the dog, in the areas, where the dog is hard to operate. Ibexes are willingly climbing vertical cliffs, and that makes them suitable for operating in the vertical areas?

Blackbirds and STEALTH-technology

When we are looking at the blackbirds (Image III), what are brooding their eggs, we might see that they are always in the same direction. The rostrum of those birds is always turning out from the wall, and the tail of those birds is risen, which gives it a certain form. This behavior has been made because the sound waves would travel on the layer of that bird bypassing it. And the hunters would not see the bird by using their sonar.

So when we are looking at the form of the new stealth-hydrofoils (Image IV) they are looking at the brooding blackbirds. The idea is that the outer layer of the stealth craft would act like a blackbird, and make it invisible in the radar, and this is the thing, why this passive stealth is superior in that kind of craft. The active stealth or counter radar stealth would require energy and that means the system must use turbines or engines.

And the mission of the small size craft could slip unseen to the coast and in this kind of mission the use of the electric motors could be the best result. So the craft might be equipped with the hydro wing what can be pulled in and hybrid engine system, where is the turbine for fast running and the electric motor for the silent drive. So the passive stealth could be suitable in the small craft because that would save batteries. This can be the next-generation recon and silent operation system.

Plasmonic waves can make new waves in quantum technology.

"LSU researchers have made a significant discovery related to the fundamental properties and behavior of plasmonic waves, which can lead ot the development of more sensitive and robust quantum technologies. Credit: LSU" (ScitechDaily, Plasmonics Breakthrough Unleashes New Era of Quantum Technologies) Plasmonic waves in the quantum gas are the next-generation tools. The plasmonic wave is quite similar to radio waves. Or, rather say it, a combination of acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves. Quantum gas is an atom group. In those atom groups, temperature and pressure are extremely low.  The distance of atoms is long. And when an electromagnetic system can pump energy to those atoms. But the thing in quantum gas is that the atoms also make physical movements like soundwaves. It's possible. To create quantum gas using monoatomic ions like ionized noble gas. In those systems, positive (or negative) atoms push each other away.  When the box is filled with quantum gas and som

Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.

"Researchers have created a novel metamaterial that can dynamically tune its shape and properties in real-time, offering unprecedented adaptability for applications in robotics and smart materials. This development bridges the gap between current materials and the adaptability seen in nature, paving the way for the future of adaptive technologies. The metamorphosis in the material can thermally activate.  AI is the ultimate tool for metamaterial research. Metamaterials are nanotechnical- or quantum technical tools that can change their properties, like reflection or state from solid to liquid when the electric or optical effect hits that material.
