What if somebody brings a portable particle accelerator to the room, and starts to use it?
When we are thinking about the time machine, what would stop the time in space, that thing is simply the particle accelerator, what would orbit particles, what is loaded with extremely high energy load with the speed of light, and that thing causes the slowing of time. And if the speed of light is reached, that thing would stop the time. So there is one really good problem, which sometimes introduced to me. What happens if somebody would bring the portable particle accelerator to the room and starts to use it. in this case, the system is the size of the briefcase, and it is a circular tube, where magnets drive the particles in the tube.

I don't know is this process ever done with the other particles, and the problem with a proton is the mass of that particle is bigger than an electron, and that makes projection of it more difficult than electrons.
