L-4 "Grasshopper and the unusual story about it as the tank killer

L-4 Grasshopper was the light observing aircraft of the second world war, and one of the most unusual tank killers in history. That aircraft has been shown that also small aircraft must be taken seriously. And that model has been improved after the Second World War. For tank-killing duties this aircraft was equipped with "Bazookas", and it was used against German tanks during the Second World War.

The reason for that was that the German tanks were better than U.S tanks, and the army needed a fast-reacting antitank vehicle, which could attack against multiple targets in a large area. The idea was that the "Grasshoppers" would fly to the front, then attack against tanks and then get more ammunition. In modern models of this kind of aircraft the "bazooka"-rockets are inside the cassette, where they can use against the target as salvos. And the thing, why this kind of aircraft is still in use is that those systems are very low noise.

Small Cessnas and other things keep less noise than helicopters, even if there is some kind of noise suppression systems installed in the helicopters. The active systems would base the loudspeakers, what is creating a horizontal layer, what would not let the sound of the helicopter coming through that sound. And in passive systems, the key element is exhaust tubes, which turned upwards. That would focus the sound away from the observer, who is standing on the ground. And that thing is the key element of modern low-noise technology.

The lightweight aircraft, which is equipped with the hollow explosive rocket, which can effectively penetrate the armor had given route to the many other things, like antitank helicopters and other vehicles. In modern times the small Cessnas are sometimes equipped with antitank or antipersonnel weapons, and the thing, that makes the HEAT ammunition very useful is that weapon can fill with propane, what is tanked on the front of the explosive.

If the chamber of the HEAT ammunition would be filled by using hydrocarbon, that thing causes an extremely powerful explosion. In some cases, this kind of model has been transferred to the anti-guerrilla operations, where they have been used with FAE (Fuel Air Explosives). This kind of explosive is effective even in the small size, and that makes them very deadly tools in the cases when the targets were some kind of guerrillas.

Plasmonic waves can make new waves in quantum technology.

"LSU researchers have made a significant discovery related to the fundamental properties and behavior of plasmonic waves, which can lead ot the development of more sensitive and robust quantum technologies. Credit: LSU" (ScitechDaily, Plasmonics Breakthrough Unleashes New Era of Quantum Technologies) Plasmonic waves in the quantum gas are the next-generation tools. The plasmonic wave is quite similar to radio waves. Or, rather say it, a combination of acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves. Quantum gas is an atom group. In those atom groups, temperature and pressure are extremely low.  The distance of atoms is long. And when an electromagnetic system can pump energy to those atoms. But the thing in quantum gas is that the atoms also make physical movements like soundwaves. It's possible. To create quantum gas using monoatomic ions like ionized noble gas. In those systems, positive (or negative) atoms push each other away.  When the box is filled with quantum gas and som

Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.

"Researchers have created a novel metamaterial that can dynamically tune its shape and properties in real-time, offering unprecedented adaptability for applications in robotics and smart materials. This development bridges the gap between current materials and the adaptability seen in nature, paving the way for the future of adaptive technologies.
