Electromagnetic or electric motor powered crossbow
Electromagnetic crossbow is actually the modern version of the classic crossbow, what has been used since 1000 BC. In Switzerland have been found remains of the crossbow, what have been made about 1300 BC. And during history, that thing has been in a key role in many great battles including the Battle of Hastings. The crossbow is a little bit slower to load than the normal long- and short bows. But it can be easier to use from the horseback.
The thing is that also spears were shot by using giant crossbows, and the great inventor Leonardo Da Vinci planned to send his glide-plane to the skies by using the giant ballista, what is the name of those very big crossbows. Ballistas are also used to send drones to the skies in modern warfare.
The thing is that if the cavalry soldier uses a crossbow that man could keep another hand in the rein of the horse. The attunement of the crossbow happened that the cavalryman put the boot in the pulling iron, and then he pulled the bowstring back and put the arrow in the place. In modern warfare, crossbows are used sometimes for shooting the anchors on the roof.
If the arrow of the crossbow is equipped with the HEAT or hollow explosive anti-tank ammunition or FAE grenade that system would be effective in modern warfare. The thing is that the killing radius of the FAE hand grenade is about 30 meters, and that's why it would be effective if it would shoot to target by using crossbow or fleece bow because the flash would not uncover the location of the shooter. And in the Rambo-movies the hero uses a bow in the combat situation. The fast-rotating electric motors would give more punch to both types of bows.
And crossbows are effective in silent killing and hunting. But the reason why this equipment has been got the improvement is the use of drones. Drones can be launched from hydraulic catapults, but the ballistics or giant crossbow-type catapults are also effective.
The electric motors would pull the bowstring ahead, and that will give an extremely high punch. In this system is not hydraulic tubes, which can be damaged, and in the case of damage, the electric engine can be changed easily. The bowstring would be made by using the nylon and Kevlar cable, which would be very strong. In hydraulic catapults is the vacuum ahead of the piston, and it will move ahead with very fast speed. The problem is that if the system would be a single hole, it would be useless.
