There are many similarities with old stories about demons and artificial intelligence. The idea is that artificial intelligence is not dangerous at all if that thing is not controlled by a human. And the thing is that human would make artificial intelligence dangerous by programming it the weapon.

Or the other way to make that thing dangerous is to connect a person to the artificial intelligence, and then that creature would turn dangerous if controlling mind of the artificial intelligence would want to use it in the criminal activities. The Internet is full of stories about the robots, which are created for combat purposes, and the thing is that the controller must put to try hard, if the machine, what operates in the field would want to seem like a real human.

And in this case, the virtual reality would make possible to create so good interactive interface, that the person would operate the machine in the field by using remote control. In some very interesting thoughts, what is totally against moral the person, who would operate the robot should not even now, that this inmate would operate the combat robot in the jungle.

The thing is that that kind of actions would be done by covering the user interface of those robots as the game. The idea is taken from the space adventure book "Ender", where a young boy is commanding the Starfleet without knowing that the real persons followed those orders. 

This kind of scenarios would make possible that the commander could give orders without feelings about losses, and that kind of thing is very effective even today. But the idea of the commander, who believes a thing, that the things, what is moving on the screen are only the practice thing in memory of the computer.

The thing would make that commander use the most effective battles during the combat situation. In some scenarios, computer games would help the artificial intelligence to create its tactics against enemies. That means the data, what is collected from the games, would transform to the orders, what is used to commanding own troops in that field.
