Floating artificial islands and city-sized ships

Floating artificial islands

Floating artificial islands is introducing to solving the problems of the overpopulation and the rising sea level. Those artificial islands, what are pontoons, what mission is to offer the base, and over them is creating the houses. The problem is that waves can cause problems, but the floating islands might offer the ecological solution for living at the sea. The thing that makes them ecological is that the building material can be used the garbage, what is collected from the sea, and then melted to use the structure, what offers also protection against hurricanes.

The collecting unit would just pull the stuff in it, and then push the air bubbles in that mass, and then it would be used to make the floating material, which can be used in this kind of megastructures. And the places, where the houses are built can be made by using stronger material. The plastic-based material can be used in the artificial hills and other places, and the structure might be covered by using concrete or iron, which can be collected from the bottom of the ocean.

Megastructure "fantasy ship", what would be the size of Manhattan

Sometimes some people introduced an idea about the ship, what would be about the size of Manhattan, and what could have the windmills and solar panels for creating the electricity for its engines and other systems. And the purpose of that ship was acting as the "hippie-community", what would sell some services to the customers, and then those people, who would be selected because of their skills would solve that problem.

That community was planned to be independent, and the people would eat the alga and fish, and that thing could also be ecological. The services which that community can offer would be cleaning the ocean, and make some oceanological research. And in some images, what I have seen is the ship, what has the city on board. That thing seems a large-scale fantasy, but this kind of thought is really interesting.

But could that thing be realistic? This is the thing, what we can always ask, and who would build the ship, what has the size of the city? The answer would be that this kind of project would be interesting to the nations, what would sink underwater. And maybe in tomorrow that kind of ships would have also owned nationality, but these things are only in the level of fantasy, but the fantasy can turn the truth. Who knows what kind of things would be a sail on the seas after twenty years?

Plasmonic waves can make new waves in quantum technology.

"LSU researchers have made a significant discovery related to the fundamental properties and behavior of plasmonic waves, which can lead ot the development of more sensitive and robust quantum technologies. Credit: LSU" (ScitechDaily, Plasmonics Breakthrough Unleashes New Era of Quantum Technologies) Plasmonic waves in the quantum gas are the next-generation tools. The plasmonic wave is quite similar to radio waves. Or, rather say it, a combination of acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves. Quantum gas is an atom group. In those atom groups, temperature and pressure are extremely low.  The distance of atoms is long. And when an electromagnetic system can pump energy to those atoms. But the thing in quantum gas is that the atoms also make physical movements like soundwaves. It's possible. To create quantum gas using monoatomic ions like ionized noble gas. In those systems, positive (or negative) atoms push each other away.  When the box is filled with quantum gas and som

Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.

"Researchers have created a novel metamaterial that can dynamically tune its shape and properties in real-time, offering unprecedented adaptability for applications in robotics and smart materials. This development bridges the gap between current materials and the adaptability seen in nature, paving the way for the future of adaptive technologies. Metamaterials are nanotechnical- or quantum technical tools that can change their properties, like reflection or state from solid to liquid when the electric or optical effect hits that material.
