Do aliens exist?
1) Aliens might exist but are they living in our galaxy is a good question.
The answer is yes because there are billions of ad billions of galaxies in the universe, and each galaxy involves billions of stars, and almost every star has planets orbiting them. So the thing is that there might be very similar species what we are in the universe, but where is the question, what we cannot answer.
But when we are thinking about the change in our worldview, we always forget that about twenty years ago there were disputes about the exoplanets, and some people believe that our solar system is unique, and then the first exoplanets were found. So that thing shows that there were also other solar systems in the universe, and then our knowledge about exoplanets have been changed. But still, some people believe that there could not be habitable planets in the universe.
2) Luhman-16 along with planets of Proxima Centauri shows that there are many things to find even in the near of us
Then they found the Gliese 581(1), which is the first known exosolar solar system The Gliese 581 system has probably six planets. Those planets might not have intelligent lifeforms, but they are shown that there are other solar systems. And that thing makes this star interesting.
But then the Kepler 22-b(2) and Alpha Centauri Bb(3) have been shown that exoplanets are orbiting also many other stars. There is not an absolute surety that the Alpha Centauri Bb is the planet, but the things like finding Luhman-16 (4)system has been shown that even near of Earth would be found new solar systems, and today we know, that almost every star has some kind of companion, and also Proxima Centauri (5) has been found planet, Proxima b.
So those things have been shown that the planets are more common in-universe than we ever thought. And of course, brown dwarfs, what are orbiting other stars might have planets, what has a very kind atmosphere. And the thing is that we can find the lifeforms in the universe very soon, but they are not necessarily intelligent.
The problem with making sure that those "alien microbes" would be from some other planet is, that for confirming that information researchers must have DNA-samples, what is taken from another planet. And without that kind of sample, we can just make a hypothesis, that some bacteria would be from some other planet.
3) But what if there are intelligent lifeforms in the universe?
Intelligent lifeforms can be found from the other solar systems, and the thing is that if those species would be aliens, what can travel between stars, that means they might have bases in some other solar system. In this case, the aliens would not need the stable star, and they can live on the planet, what is sooner or later targeted by some flare, what burns everything to dust.
And he here I will tell a little hypothesis about the aliens, what are living in the mythic alien colony. Think about that alien base on the Earth would exist, and we would find the location of the base, and ask then, where they are coming? The thing is that there is a possibility, that those hypothetical aliens would not know that thing, and they cannot even tell, where their home planet is. That helps to protect their capital against possible attacks.
