Animism is a philosophical or primitive regional opinion that every item has a soul.
The idea seems very outside to our, western people, but then we can think the thing, that should we make a little bit more accurate description to that words than just every stone or another thing would have soul, maybe the original meaning is that the "living items have a soul"(1). sometimes it is asked could that electric vortex be stored in the crystals, but the thing is that this kind of thought is pure religion. So this kind of things are a little bit different, than what we are reading at school, and there is one very interesting point of view to that thing, and that is that every soul would have the same rank, but the distance to the source of that thing describes what is the rank of the soul in this world.
Or some other version is that the souls of animals are souls, what are training, that they could rise in rank to the level of humans. The world is full of theories, and this thing is one of the most interesting, what I ever have seen. So the idea is that the soul is the electromagnetic vortex, which would have the ability to leave the body. But does that kind of thought have nothing more than religious meaning?
There have been many extraordinary people in history, who were trying to capture souls or take the photograph of the thing, what we are calling as soul, the idea was that when a person dies in the Faradays cage, that metal structure would store the soul in it(2). There is no proof that the thing would be working. And some of those extraordinary people have tried to take a photograph of the death when that character would come and take the soul away. The idea was to take photographs, just when the death happens, and how successful that kind of attempt has been not reported.
In some ideas, the soul can be made by using some programming language and computer, and that thing could be driven to the nervous system of humans, but that thing might be pure fiction. When we are thinking about animism as the place, where "souls are living", we would think that this kind of thing is only thoughts, what a woman named H.P Blavatsky introduced a long time ago.
And maybe we would throw entire theory about that every item would have a soul to the garbage, and forget everything. But someday we can visit in some most horrifying places in history. The Birkenau death camp and the legend tells that the birds are never singing in that place, what stands in its place at Poland for remembering that the ultimate brutality of mankind.
