Alien civilizations might be there but they are rare

Alien civilizations might be there but they are rare

When SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) is looking for alien intelligence people are saying that it's like looking for the pin in the cosmic grass hump. The thing is not like that, because looking for another alien intelligence is far more difficult than looking for a pin from some grass hump. The thing is that in this kind of case, where pin must be found from some hump. Searcher knows what to look for. Searcher knows what the pin looks like, and then that person knows that there is a hump of grass, where the pin is.

Some SETI researchers are saying that looking for an alien civilization is like looking for the pin from the grass hump, but the searchers do not know which hump on Earth the pin is hidden. So the case is like some person would say that there is a pin in grass hump, but that person would not say even what is the mainland, where that hump and pin are locating. So the searcher must process every single hump on our planet. But still, the example is a little bit too easy. In that case, the searchers at least know what the pin or object they are looking for looks like. And they know that it is in the hump.

But when the SETI-program is looking for an alien. The problem is that they don't know a thing about this kind of object. They don't know, what it looks like, how it communicates, or does it even uses combustion engines.

And that thing makes the process so slow. There is a possibility that the alien has been faced that climate chancing and warming the planet causes danger, and turned to use the solar power and hydrogen fuel. In this case, the alien would not pollute its planet, and if it uses mainly lasers in the communication that thing causes that the alien would not be seen in the radio telescopes.

And the use of the lasers in the communication could be caused because the hypothetical alien planet would be near the powerful radio object, which would cause the disturbing in the radio frequency communication. So the alien civilization would turn to use light cables for transmitting the data. Or maybe they just deny the unauthorized use of the data network. This is one version of the alien civilization, that we cannot detect by using the radio telescopes.

The question is, why alien civilizations are so rare?

Why alien civilizations would be so rare? The answer is that in the history of the planet must happen something that makes the evolution of the species turn to favor the intelligence or quality, as I have written earlier. Species need intelligence for creating things like SETI-program. There are two main roads in the evolution, which guarantees that the species would survive. The large descendant production or the line, what favor the intelligence.

The thing is that the conditions in planets must be like that the species are seeing, that they get the benefit from the intelligence. This thing is called "the natural selection". Maybe this advantage started in some cold plain when one monkey searched the food under the ice and gave that to the partner. This might be the begin the advantage, which might continue.

Maybe the same monkey took the stick from the ground and drove the other animals away for protecting the partner and descendant. I don't know what happened, but something that is needed the intelligence made so great impression, that one monkey started to turn the human.

In the last case, the number of descendants is lower, but the survivability rate is higher. And the intelligence doesn't self mean that species start to make the machines and spacecraft. There must be happen something, that makes that species curious, and starts it build the radio telescopes and search other civilizations.

Plasmonic waves can make new waves in quantum technology.

"LSU researchers have made a significant discovery related to the fundamental properties and behavior of plasmonic waves, which can lead ot the development of more sensitive and robust quantum technologies. Credit: LSU" (ScitechDaily, Plasmonics Breakthrough Unleashes New Era of Quantum Technologies) Plasmonic waves in the quantum gas are the next-generation tools. The plasmonic wave is quite similar to radio waves. Or, rather say it, a combination of acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves. Quantum gas is an atom group. In those atom groups, temperature and pressure are extremely low.  The distance of atoms is long. And when an electromagnetic system can pump energy to those atoms. But the thing in quantum gas is that the atoms also make physical movements like soundwaves. It's possible. To create quantum gas using monoatomic ions like ionized noble gas. In those systems, positive (or negative) atoms push each other away.  When the box is filled with quantum gas and som

Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.
