About the possibility of the alien civilization at Proxima Centauri
Above this text is the artist's impression of an alien civilization. Here I'm writing about the possibility that there are living aliens on the planets, what are orbiting red dwarfs. If we are thinking that the Proxima Centauri is quite near to the Alpha Centauri system. The journey to that solar system might not take very long if we are living in the Alpha Centauri system.
The motivation to travel to the Proxima System from the Alpha Centauri system might be lower if we would live in Alpha Centauri. The distance between Alpha and Proxima Centauri is not so big as the distance between Earth and Proxima Centauri. And one reason what has brake the advantage of space technology is the loss of the other planets that are similar to Earth.
So we don't have the motivation to travel to another planet. The solar system of the red dwarfs is smaller than our solar system, and if the hypothetical aliens will travel to that kind of solar system, traveling between planets will be easier than traveling between planets in our solar system.
The planets of the Proxima Centauri system are locked. And if we are thinking about the possibility that there is an alien civilization. And if the planets have an atmosphere the other side will be intense heat and another side would be very cold, and there are massive winds around those planets. So if the civilization is advanced in some other more kindly planet, there is the possibility that the planets of red dwarf stars can give a good place for the outpost of the aliens. And also the robots, which are controlled by artificial intelligence can create the alien outpost.
The system where the planet is turning always on the same side of the central star could offer a great place for a space elevator.(1) The gravity of the central star will keep the space elevator in the form. And the spacecraft can pull outside the atmosphere by using electromagnetic accelerators. On a rotating planet, the centripetal force will raise the cargo to the orbital trajectory if the space elevator is in use. But on a locked planet the space elevator can be taller, and they can use the gravity of the red dwarf in the space missions.
The winds that are making that kind of planet so hostile can rotate windmills, and the space elevators would have vertical turbogenerators. The magnetic systems can also be boosted by connecting the heavier weight to the cargo, and the gravity of the red dwarf can boost the lifting by pulling that weight with its gravity field. So that thing makes the planets of the red dwarfs suitable for the spaceports. That is benefiting the energy of the wind of that planet. But could that thing be the thing, what is happening in Proxima Centauri?
If the civilization uses wind energy, that will minimize pollution. And the wind is very powerful on those planets, but the question is why the signal that is captured from Proxima Centauri is the first one? Why there are no similar observations before? The thing is that the possibility that the signals are coming from an alien outpost is fascinating.
