Oobleck the fantastic biomaterial.

Oobleck the fantastic biomaterial.

As you see from the film above "oobleck" cannot stop a bullet if it is packed in the normal water balloon. But the thing is different if oobleck is packed in the mylar, nylon, or kevlar balloon. Oobleck can use to give a more thick layer for stiff the structure in blown bridges. Or protect the inner layer of spacecraft against heat. The liquid oobleck can deliver over the blown structure for stiffing it.

"Oobleck" is one of the most interesting materials in the world. The material itself is the equal parts of cornstarch and water. One of the abilities of oobleck is that when something hits it, that material is turning very hard. So that thing makes it possible to run on the layer of oobleck, and keep feet dry. Oobleck is a biomaterial that is cheap to produce, and there is one very interesting field, where that material can use.

One of the places where oobleck can use is blown or other lightweight bridges. The structure of the bridge is blown in form. And then there would be a layer of oobleck below the lightweight lid. When some people or vehicles will drive over that bridge, the oobleck will turn harder.

The ability to turn hard makes that kind of material a good thing to use as protective clothing. When somebody hits the vests, which are filled by using oobleck that thing would turn very hard. So the bullet- or hit protecting clothes can use oobleck in some of their layers. Oobleck can also be used to protect spaceships against damages.

The damaged heat shield can cover by using the profile that gets their form by filling them with using oobleck. That makes the repairment part filling in the smaller space. If that bag-looking structure is needed that thing can fill by using oobleck and water that will make it possible to make a single-used heat shield that can use in cases when the heat shield is damaged. That thing can help to get the craft back to Earth.

I don't know would the drops of oobleck turn very hard as the bigger layers. But there is the possibility to drop the oobleck as the drops from the aircraft. Or at the front of ammunition can also put oobleck, which would make it possible to make a new type of flechette or shotgun ammunition.

Plasmonic waves can make new waves in quantum technology.

"LSU researchers have made a significant discovery related to the fundamental properties and behavior of plasmonic waves, which can lead ot the development of more sensitive and robust quantum technologies. Credit: LSU" (ScitechDaily, Plasmonics Breakthrough Unleashes New Era of Quantum Technologies) Plasmonic waves in the quantum gas are the next-generation tools. The plasmonic wave is quite similar to radio waves. Or, rather say it, a combination of acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves. Quantum gas is an atom group. In those atom groups, temperature and pressure are extremely low.  The distance of atoms is long. And when an electromagnetic system can pump energy to those atoms. But the thing in quantum gas is that the atoms also make physical movements like soundwaves. It's possible. To create quantum gas using monoatomic ions like ionized noble gas. In those systems, positive (or negative) atoms push each other away.  When the box is filled with quantum gas and som

Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.

"Researchers have created a novel metamaterial that can dynamically tune its shape and properties in real-time, offering unprecedented adaptability for applications in robotics and smart materials.
