New robot bugs are multipurpose tools

The new and agile drones are remarkable invention, what can operate in many missions. The problem with those systems is how to get electricity, and one of the versions of to use the micro- or radiowaves along with solar panels. But there is the possibility that things like the bioelectricity of the bacteria can be used to make the electric power for those small-size drones. The use of bacteria requires that thousands or even millions of electric bacteria would put between layers that are connecting those bacteria in series.

And that makes possible that drone should jut get nutrient for those bacteria, what are delivering electricity to the drone. Even the small-size drones would have only one sensor, the drone swarms can operate as the entirety. If drones have CCD-cameras, they can cover a large area, and then the computers can connect those images.

The drones might also have lidars, which can be used as laser microphones. If the drone slips into the house it can use the laser microphone for listening to everything that happens in the rooms, which are invisible from outside. Laser microphones can search the resonance from windows, walls, or human skulls. Every resonating layer can uncover the speech of people. And the surveillance cameras of the drone can see things, what people are writing. The miniature drones can be masked as a matchbox or real bugs.

One of the most interesting ways to create a self-operating drone is to use photovoltaic cells for creating electricity for them. In that case, the laser light can be used as well as in delivering orders and electricity to those drones. The laser can install in aircraft, satellites, airships, or every other platform. The drone swarms can operate very independently because the drones can link to one big entirety by using the WLAN-communication systems.

There are many ways how to benefit those drones in the civil and military world. The small-size drones can slip into the houses, and search people inside them. The flying drones can equip with wheels, which makes them able to operate in houses. The drones of the drone swarms can make the chain, and by using lasers those drones can share the data and deliver electricity to each other. So the drone swarm would be acting as the large entirety.

The ability to connect the neurons to those drones can give them flexibility and independent operative ability. The problem with the drone-swarms is that if the neurons are controlling those systems, they can turn more intelligent than humans. And that makes them very problematic.

Plasmonic waves can make new waves in quantum technology.

"LSU researchers have made a significant discovery related to the fundamental properties and behavior of plasmonic waves, which can lead ot the development of more sensitive and robust quantum technologies. Credit: LSU" (ScitechDaily, Plasmonics Breakthrough Unleashes New Era of Quantum Technologies) Plasmonic waves in the quantum gas are the next-generation tools. The plasmonic wave is quite similar to radio waves. Or, rather say it, a combination of acoustic waves and electromagnetic waves. Quantum gas is an atom group. In those atom groups, temperature and pressure are extremely low.  The distance of atoms is long. And when an electromagnetic system can pump energy to those atoms. But the thing in quantum gas is that the atoms also make physical movements like soundwaves. It's possible. To create quantum gas using monoatomic ions like ionized noble gas. In those systems, positive (or negative) atoms push each other away.  When the box is filled with quantum gas and som

Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.

"Researchers have created a novel metamaterial that can dynamically tune its shape and properties in real-time, offering unprecedented adaptability for applications in robotics and smart materials.
