The ability to create a portable heart-lung machine can revolutionize medical treatment
If all layers of the heart-lung machine would be covered by using living cells of the patient, that can deny the immune reaction.
If we would want to make perfect transplant organs to patients, in the future, we can use own cells of a patient to those organs. In this case, the 3D bio-printer would create the organ like lungs by using cell cultures, which are created by using the own cells of the patients. But in cases where lungs and heart must be transplanted, the doctors must remove organs, because the things like cancer can sprawl in the body, and while waiting for new organs the patient must use the heart-lung machine, what would cause horrible infections if it would not be covered by using living cells, what denies the immune reaction, if they are taken from the own body of the patient.
The major problems with the heart-lung machine are infections, what is causing by the bacteria, what enters in the body by cuts, what are used to get the tubes inside the body. If the outer layer of those tubes would be made by using own tissue and living cells of the patient, the tube would grow in the skin and that makes the contact tight, and deny the entry of the bacteria in the blood veins. Of course, the inner layer of those tubes can be covered by using the own blood vein cells of the patient, what denies the immune reaction.
And if the tubes what are transferring blood through the lung-heart machine would be made by artificial blood veins, what is created by using own living cells of the patient, and the all surfaces are covered with living cells, the lung-heart machine would be used even rest of the life. If we would want to create the portable version of this system, we might connect the tubes of the heart-lung system to the blood veins of the arm, and then the system would recycle the blood through the small-size compact version of the heart-lung machine.
In the future, the heart-lung machine can install surgically, and the patients can use it even tens of years.
The size of this system might be the small briefcase, and that allows the patient to move and live the normal life if the lungs and heart must be removed because of accident or cancer. In that case, the medical team might remove those organs, and then give the treatment to those organs outside of the body. In the wildest dreams, the small-size heart-lung machine can installed in the chest of the patient by using surgery.
The patients have lived a couple of days by using an artificial heart, and the cause of death has been the infection, and the blood would get lumpy because it goes through an artificial heart. But if we would cover the artificial heart by using the own tissue of the patient, that would deny the immune reaction, and if the tubes, what are connected to the blood veins of the body would be created by using the artificial blood veins, that would help with immune reactions.
And maybe in the future, we would replace our lungs and heart by using machines, what people can use the rest of their life, what could be similar like other people.
