Are the tubes below P-51D "Mustang" somehow connected to "foo-fighters"



I found this photograph from Pinterest, and it has been published many times on the Internet. There is no mentioned about place or date, where it is taken. The tube-looking objects below the P-51D along with "foo-fighters" makes that photo interesting. So it can be made after the Second World war, and even if there is some kind of texts, they might be faked, and the simplest answer for that photo is, that is made for testing some infrared films. That thing could be a mechanic infrared targeting system.

Or infrared targeting system, which uses an infrared version of the polaroid camera. That system might take the series of photos by using the infrared film, and the aiming of that system might be used by the watching device, where the target would be seen by that series of polaroid film. When the camera takes the photo, the film would be seen immediately after the shot. And that kind of system might be the first infrared system before the television screens. And maybe those tubes are the ranging system, which tells if the target is in the range.

Another hypothesis about those strange tubes.

There are visible so-called "foo-fighters" in the background. But the Mustang itself seems to have strange-looking tubes under it. This image has been shaken little, and that is not very sharp, but those tubes might be the weapons, what is making the turbulence behind this plane.

They might be the organ pipes, what mission would be jam the acoustic sensor, what mission is to locate the sound. But those pipes can also be some kind of early attempts to make the plasmoid weapon, which would accelerate the ionized gas or water through it. Or they might even be the early attempts to create the magnetic propulsion system.

In that system, the gas would be ionized at the front of the tube, and then the accelerator would drive it behind the aircraft. That kind of system can cause the creation of plasma-ball. And those plasma balls can be very dangerous in the wrong hands.

The EG&G corporation has been tested those systems and the idea of the so-called "smart plasmoid weapons" is that the target would load by the opposite electricity or the plasma ball whar has opposite polarity for the transmitting radar would be released to the transmitting area of radar. The magnetic effect would suck the plasma ball to it, which might cause problems for electronics. In this scenario, the system would get power from the motor of "Mustang".

The thing is that the location, where this photograph has been taken is not mentioned. So could the "foo-fighters" be some kind of ionized water or gas balls, what would trave to target, what is loaded with the opposite polarity of electricity. But that thing is speculation. There is a possibility, that "foo-fighters" would be some kind of burning magnesium bites, what mission is to deny to photographing aircraft. These kinds of speculations are very interesting, and we know that this photograph might be taken after the Second World War.
